KUALA TERENGGANU – A pioneer in the Malaysian fast-food industry, A&W Malaysia recently reopened its popular outlet at Pantai Batu Buruk here following a major refurbishment exercise, the first since the outlet began operations in August 1996.
A testament to A&W Malaysia’s continued commitment to invest in the brand and its restaurants, the Pantai Batu Buruk outlet now spots a cool trendy modern-retro look and ambiance that celebrates its rich F&B heritage while at the same time, excites diners with a promise of something always new and innovative.
A&W Pantai Batu Buruk was established through a partnership between A&W Malaysia and Koperasi Pegawai-Pegawai Tadbir Negeri Terengganu Berhad (PPTNT), the Co-operatives for State Administrators in Terengganu. For over 26 years, A&W Pantai Batu Buru khas become a key F&B landmark for locals and tourists alike, drawing crowds within the beach enclave and the surrounding communities.
Yang Berhormat Mulia (YBM) Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja, the State Secretary of Terengganu and Chairman of PPTNT, was present as the Guest of Honour to witness the reopening ceremony of this celebrated outlet. Also present were Ms. Sophia Ch’ng, Chief Operating Officer of A&W Malaysia as well as senior officials from the State Government.
